Mid-week update

So far the week is going well. My reward jar has proved thus far to be successful. Last night was my first night since Saturday where I didn’t get any stones.

I went one point over for the day (over my earned APs that is) and in addition snacked at night. I am trying to think of what spurred it. I think part of it was I was very emotional last night about Dakota right before I went to bed and the other part was that I didn’t eat a filling enough dinner (not enough protein). Such is life, must move on!

Today I am determined to get my two stones! I am heading home after work to get to the leasing office because my knee sleeves arrive today. I hope they fit. I had a bit of a measurement error so it might be close.

Yesterday after I work I went to a kickboxing class! My company offers some free group fitness classes. In the past they’ve offered step which I pass on because I hate step (a sprained ankle waiting to happen if you ask me!) but they just recently offered a three class series for kickboxing so I signed up for all three right away.

I was worried it wasn’t going to be a good workout but it was tough and I was sweating! I could tell right away I was working areas I haven’t in a while with all the running. It’s good to mix things up!

A new product shout out! John and I splurged and bought a $9 jar of Barney Butter! It’s a very smooth almond butter. Most almond butter is grittier but this brand is the same smooth consistency of creamy peanut butter. It’s also made in a peanut-free facility so great for people with peanut allergies. I always hear people rave about it on the food blogs I read so I had to try it. I’ve behaved so well with it too! I have 1tbsp on toast for breakfast with some sliced banana. Yum!

Tonight I’m doing level 2 of 30 Day Shred and making Greek Turkey Burgers and soup for dinner. Yum!

I also hope to read more Harry Potter. I’m on Order of the Phoenix. No spoilers! So far my favorite character is Sirius Black by far!

Speaking of Harry Potter, I think we might go to Universal Saturday for the day. I told John I have to go to my WW meeting so I may be hitting up the 6:30 a.m. meeting. UGH!

Overall I’m still upset about Dakota but trying to remain positive. Talked with his vet yesterday. He has moderate heart disease but some key parts of his heart look good which is great news. He will start taking a beta-blocker medication 2x a day to slow his heart rate so his heart doesn’t work so hard. She said he should continue to act normal and in 6 months we will repeat the echocardiogram and hope that we find his heart disease has not progressed. Sigh.

Here is me pretending to sleep when Dakota was snuggling with me the other night while I was reading. :)

Inaugural Lockheed Martin 5k Run/Walk

So on Saturday I went to the Lockheed Martin Inaugural 5k run/walk. Considering it was their first one it was pretty well organized. It started and 8 a.m. and after standing outside for only a half hour I was already sweating. Ugh, Florida...

I'd say only 100-150 people were there so it was nice to run in a race that wasn't that crowded.

Boom! We went off and I tried to start off with a faster pace, nothing crazy but I tried what I thought would be close to a 10 minute mile pace but slowed a little. It's really hard for me to tell me how fast I'm going. I could really use a gps watch! Anyway, I got to the mile one water station around 10:32 from what I remember and was shocked but kept going. The course was a little boring on a road that went around the facility but the part I hated was the road was a tad slanted and I was worried that was going to hurt my knees but it seemed okay.

When I got to the mile two water station but I can't remember what my watch said. It was hot and I wanted to keep going. I walked through the water stations which I actually think helped my pace.

When I was getting close to the finish line I looked at my watch and went WOAH and tried to pick it up. The race was very casual and there wasn't a clock (just a woman yelling out times as people crossed) so I was glad I timed it on my watch.

I crossed at 32:27 and was so excited but also skeptical. I felt like it was too good to be true. I thought the course seemed short and maybe it wasn't really 3.1 miles?

It was a personal record 5k time! I beat my last 5k time by 5 minutes! It's been two months since my last race.

I got home and immediately went on this gps map and took the race map with me. It came out to 3.1! Well, a little over but it's probably impossible to be 100 percent exact.

I think it comes down to the fact I'm used to running longer distances now that the 3.1 seemed shorter.

Part of me still finds it hard to believe but I need to stop that nonsense and own my success! I saw the verified fact so it's time to celebrate!

Other things to note:

My knees felt okay after the race. I made sure to stretch good. Today was a rest day and tomorrow I have a long run (5.5 miles) and I think I'll be okay for it.

food photo from Sunday

Dinner from Sunday:

We steamed green beans (a zero point veggie!) and made jasmine rice in the rice cooker with part water and part light coconut milk. It had a very light coconut flavor and was yummy! We also bought this thai chicken peanut bake in the international aisle at Publix. It adds about a point to how many ounces of chicken you eat but it's delicious!

This was a pretty quick and easy meal.

Tonight we are making a fried rice with brown rice, veggies and chicken. I'll post a photo later. :)

In other news I have a new product shout out! The Jello Sugar-Free Mouses now have a Chocolate Mint flavor and it's delicious if you're a fan of that Thin Mint cookie flavor. :)

weigh-in day/weekend/injury

So today I was back to Weight Watchers today. I missed a month of meetings. It made me realize one again how fast time flies. That was four weeks I could have been losing weight that I just spent half-way on program and half-way off.

So today I weighed in at 182.6 which was a gain of 3.4 lbs. Sigh. I knew it was going to be that way. That's what happens when you don't follow the program 100 percent.

I've been running a lot and done three 5k's in a month and gained. Awesome.

Must move on. I feel really motivated and like I'm in a good place. Today I think will be the first Saturday I haven't dipped into my WAP.

Tonight we are going to a Seasons 52 which is owned by the people who own Olive Garden but it's a little more upscale and has healthy options and provide full nutritional information on their site. I'm getting edamame to share and the Rainbow Trout entree for 8 points!

After dinner we're going to see Toy Story 3! :) I heard it's sad.

My back is still hurting me and tomorrow will be a week since it started. It's better but still stiff and sore. Tomorrow I still plan to do a light run for at least two miles. The exercise might help loosen things up.

We went groccery shopping today to get it done early and I got lots of fruits and veggies. I tried to pick things that would keep me on program.

After WW today I stopped at this little shop and bought PB2! YES! I love that stuff as an alternative to high point peanut butter.

I also went to a new girl today to do my eyebrows because I've been unhappy with my lady and the new girl did a great job and was super friendly. I'm going to start going to her!

One last thing, I got a little 5k charm from WW for doing a 5k. It goes on my 10% key chain with my other charms (25, 50, 75 and 100 which I need to earn back!).

Okay I am sleepy and I want to nap before dinner.

Can't wait to post next Saturday about my loss! :D

See ya!

Ew, I'm sick of you!

There are some things I'm really sick of eating and want nothing to do with for a while.

1. bagel thins
2. WW cream cheese
3. oatmeal
4. WW ice cream
5. Luna Bars

What will I replace these with?

1. Green Monster shakes
2. fresh fruit
3. sliced veggies
4. savory oats?

Any other good breakfast suggestions would be much appreciated!

I'll post tomorrow with a weigh-in updated and thoughts about my new running training plan!

My back is still hurting but getting there. I think I'll be good to go for my outdoor run on Sunday morning! :)

Couch to 5k/New Posts

I'll start off by saying I re-started the Couch to 5k program today. I bout this app for my iPhone and it RULES. You can play your music and gives you the cues "start running" and "start running" as well as notifications like "half-way done" and "last run!" I love it! I highly recommend this $2.99 purchase for iPhone or iPod touch users. I am going to do day two and three for the week on Friday and Sunday. :)

Next, I might change my WW meeting. I've been doing a Saturday 10:30 a.m. meeting but with going out of town so much I keep missing them and it also sucks waking up early on the weekends. I am debating a night meeting one weekday after work.

Finally, I am going to change the way I post each day. Posting photos and points values for everything I eat each day has become difficult and I don't want this blog to become a chore.

I will still post some photos but not as many.

I want to use this blog more to reflect on my journey and give tips and advice! :)

For today though I have a photo of my breakfast and lunch!

Breakfast was a bagel thin with egg whites and Jenny O Turkey Bacon. I highly recommend this for a turkey bacon. Three slices is only 1 point! I also used a little ketchup. I also enjoyed a Vitamin Water Zero which Hungry Girl gave a bad review of but I like it!

For lunch I had a sandwich which I used an Arnolds Sandwich Thin, 2oz of Boar's Head Blazin' Buffalo Chicken Breast and a little bit of hummus. I also had a light Baby Bell Cheese and an apple sauce. Lunch was only 5 points. :)

I realized today one of my biggest downfalls is snacking. Evil, evil, evil snacking. I am going to stop buying things like Light Lays, pretzels, etc. No more empty carbs and crap that are red light foods for me and evil!

I weighed in at 177.8 my last meeting and this Friday it seemed as though I'd stayed the same. When I checked my weight Monday morning after the Disney weekend it showed I was up a bit which was scary to me. The idea of being back to 180 scares the shit out of me. Like an anxiety attack is waiting to come...

I need to turn things around now. I have done it before and I know how.

I told my friend Jen today what I want most for this year is to be at goal by the end of this year so I am feeling great and confident and can enjoy every moment of life as a happy young woman. That is what is I will achieve by the end of December.

:)

When food lies.

So if you may recall I've mentioned once if not twice how much I love this one brand of Greek dressing called Farmer Boy Greek Dressing. It was 25 calories and 2 grams of fat for 2 tbsp and delicious. It was almost too good to be true but it got a lot of hype so I felt like it was legit.

Well I happen to come across a post about how the dressing came out with a new recipe that is now 120 calories and 7 grams of fat for 2 tbsp. WHAT?! That means it went from 1 point a serving to 3 points. I'd never use 3 points on dressing!

I am super bummed about this and want to retract my recommendation that you try this dressing!

I honestly think the recipe is the same and that they have just been lying all along. How long have been using these extra points? Some weeks I used this four to five times so that is 8 to 10 points I didn't count.

Wow.

In other news I forgot to do photos for the day but wanted to post about this huge let down.

What are some of your favorite low calorie dressings?

Heart Rate Monitor

I know that when I started this blog I wasn't working out because I recently had sugery but now that I'm back into the swing of things I thought I'd post about my heart rate monitor.

I have the Polar F11 Heart Rate Monitor and I love it! I went with this monitor per the suggestion of Tamara who had been using one.

I thought It'd be great to have a Body Bugg but those things are expensive and you have to subscribe to some sort of monthly plan! No way!

This monitor comes with a chest strap band and a sensor that snaps on to it. You wear the watch on your wrist and it calculates how many calories you are burning during a workout based on your age, weight, heart rate and a fitness test it has you do when you first use it.

This is a great investment if you're into working out. John got it for me for our two-year anniversary in October (what a sweet boyfriend!) and I had been using it a ton prior to my surgery in February.

Here are some main reasons I love it and reccomend it:

1. I have found that the Weight Watchers activiy point scale tends to be off. It's a good guideline and won't ruin things for you but I like more accuracy. Sometimes I felt like I wasn't sure if what I was going was "moderate" or "intense."

2. Cardio machines that show you calories burned are always wrong. Not horribly wrong but still wrong. I've found they show I've burned on average 75 more calories than I've actually burned.

3. It gives you motivation to keep going. If you've been working out 40 min. and see you're at 330 calories you get motivated to hit 400.

How do I calcuate activity points with it? I count one activity point for every 100 calories burned. Sometimes I'll round up, for instance if I burned 388 but if I burned 326 like yesterday I rounded down to three activity points.

Deliciousness.

Okay, so I am back with photos and I have a lot!

Today for breakfast I had a Vita Top (not pictured) for 1 point and some Frosted Mini Wheats and Almond Milk for 4 points. I also had my morning coffee for 1 point.

For lunch today I had 1 oz of Pop Chips (forgot the pic of these) for 2 points along with a sandwich and strawberries. My sandwich had an Arnolds Sandwich Thin, 2oz of Boars Head Blazin' Buffalo Chicken Breast, onion and avocado for 4 points and the strawberries were 1 point. I also had a Fresca. :)

For an afternoon snack today I had a 2 point granola bar and a 2 point Yoplait Delight. Forgot to get the photos of these. Sorry!

Today I was able to get back to the gym! I burned 326 calories and earned 3 activity points!

I got home and made salad with grilled chicken for dinner!

I was hungry when cooking so I had some turkey bacon for 1 point and a Light Baby Bell Cheese for 1 point.

While cooking I was thinking how I really need to cut some sugar out of my diet. I eat these BS things filled with sugar and carbs and they are no good for me. So I threw away the Jolly Ranchers and lollipops we had!

Moving on...my salad for dinner included 3 oz of chicken, spring mix salad, broccoli slaw, onion, red bell pepper, avocado, a few chick peas and some Farmer's Boy Greek Dressing. My salad was a total of 5 points.

If you can, BUY THIS DRESSING. I could drink it...okay, maybe not drink it but it's delicious and only one point for 2tbsp.!

I just had a Vita Top for dessert for 1 point. I did also tell myself that I don't need dessert every night. If I want something sweet I can have fruit but I don't need a WW ice cream every single night!

Anyhow, I feel good today being that I got back into the gym and had a good food day.

What are some of your favorite go-to products?

Off I go to shower and get started on Prisoner of Azkaban! :)

One picture...oops!

So yeah...today I only managed to get a photo of one thing I ate. It's kind of hard getting photos of everything and getting them uploaded. I am still trying to perfect this so it's easy enough for me to do long term!

Anyway, I got to bed last night pretty early and slept well. I did wake up around 11:30 p.m. and eat a handful of pretzels. John tried to stop but I get evil when I'm in my sleepy snack fits so alas I won. I put pretzels points into today's points which you will see later. I also had a popcorn snack last night which put me two points over. I ate dinner too early so I ended up needing that extra snack. Boo.

For breakfast I made my 1 point coffee and had an Alternative Bagel and WW cream cheese for 2 points. I also counted 2 points for pretzels from my bad little snack last night.

For a mid-morning snack I had a Yoplait Parfait Delight for 2 points. I highly recommend these! I also recommend the Jello Sugar-Free mousse.

For lunch today I had a frozen mean. Eggplant Rolletini for 3 points and a small salad for 2 points.

Later in the day I had a 0% Chobani Greek Yogurt in the vanilla flavor for 2 points.

I had acupuncture after work and got home a little before 7 p.m.

For dinner I had a sandwich which was an Arnolds Sandwich Thin, Boars Head Blazin' Buffalo Chicken Breast(2oz) and a little avocado for a total of 4 points. I had some pretzels on the side for 2 points.

I had dinner and then I have a confession...I ate two WW ice cream cones. Fail. I've been super good about not going crazy on that stuff but I guess my monthly visitor caused my chocolate craving to go off the charts and I couldn't resist. The cones are two points but if you eat two of them it's 5 points.

It wasn't a tragic disaster but still not good.

I am excited to see my doctor Monday and hope to get the OK on going back to the gym.

I am going to my WW meeting this Saturday no matter what. I may have my monthly guest still and may not have been able to work out but I feel like I've been in control this past week and even though I've used most of my WAP I feel good.

I am hoping to weigh-in around 175 but since Aunt Flo is here I hope for 177 max.

John and I are going to Atlantis in the Bahamas May 6th which is 5-6 weeks away and I want to be at 165. If I can get back to the gym I know I can do it.

Time to go read more HP!

Tired, tired, moody...

I sucked at photos today. I was super busy all day and running around so I only got a few pics.

I am stressed out about this possible(probable) move and I'm also feeling moody about other things.

For breakfast I had my coffee for 1 point and an Alternative Bagel and Weight Watchers cream cheese for 2 points.

For a mid-morning snack I had 3 points worth of pretzels.

I met John over lunch to look at an apartment. Before we did that we met at Subway and I had a 6" turkey sub for 5 points and 2 points worth of chips.

Later in the day I had a 2 point Yoplait Delight. I got the chocolate/raspberry one and it was really good!

For dinner I made a decent size salad for 1 point and had left over turkey loaf for 4 points.

Finally I had a Weight Watchers ice cream cone for 2 points.

I'm half-watching ANTM but I think I'll go read some more Harry Potter soon.

I'm hoping for a more relaxed day tomorrow!

Since I did a lot of running around today I'm counting that extra point I went over as earned in activity. Argue with me if you want but that's my theory! ;)

Finally a recipe that was GOOD!

Yesterday we went grocery shopping and I had gotten a new cereal. I got the strawberry Frosted Mini Wheats. I had those for 3 points with 1 point of Original Almond Milk. I also had my daily coffee for 1 point.

For a mid-morning snack I had my pretzels after a two and a half hour meeting. I was starving so I ate them quickly and forgot to get a photo. They were 2 points for the 1oz serving.

Today was super crazy at work so I ate at my desk. I had a Chicken Fried Rice Lean Cuisine which was 5 points. I was worried this one might be nasty but it was actually pretty decent and filling.

Busy, busy, busy all day at work! For my snacks I had a 1 point Vita Top and a 1 point apple which aren't pictured.

I ended up working until 5:30, yuck...

For a snack when I got home I had some Baked Scoops and a little salsa for 3 points.

For dinner I wanted to make Turkey and Zucchini Meat Loaf which was a recipe that Tamara posted over at her blog The Strech Jean Incident.

It came out great! I used ground turkey breast instead of just ground turkey and didn't use the glaze the recipe called for because I forgot to get the items to make it so I put a little BBQ sauce on top as a glaze. It made about five servings which came to 4 points per serving.  Even John enjoyed it and it was really flavorful. Yum! Here is a photo of when I took it out of the oven and my plate.

I also made us a small salad on the side. Mine was 1 point.

Dinner was a sucess! :)

Even though today was a lonngggggg day I am glad dinner was good and I'm excited for LOST tonight!

Time to go read some Harry Potter.

I'll have a 2 point Weight Watchers ice cream cone later on to finish off my eating for the day.

Why doesn't anyone reply to my blogs? :(

Oh and tomorrow I plan to do my Biggest Loser Yoga dvd. I think that is light enough for me to do while I'm still healing.

p.s. I didn't snack last night! :D

Well don't get the veggie loaf...

This Monday was no where near as bad as last.

I didn't sleep great last night but I've slept worse. I had some coffee this morning for 1 point. If you missed earlier posts I use a sugar-free creamer which two tablespoons is only a point.

When I got to work I had some cereal for breakfast. I had 3/4 cup of Jumbo Rice Krispies for 1 point which are really good and had a cup of Original Almond Milk for 1 point. I drink Almond Milk because I try to avoid dairy and don't like the after taste of Soy Milk.

Not pictured was a Luna Bar I had for mid-morning snack for 3 points.

I was busy at work today but had time to take a lunch so that was nice. I had bought this Amy's frozen meal Veggie Loaf. It was the most disgusting thing I've ever experienced. Now, I eat veggie burgers of all sorts but this thing was awful. Ugh. Luckily my company has a cafeteria so I got a salad and had that for 5 points.

For a snack today I had some no sugar added applesauce for 1 point and some fresh fruit salad (not pictured) for 2 points.

When I got home from work I had a few bites of the leftover chicken curry from last night that John's mom made so I counted that BLT for 2 points. I also had a few Baked Scoops for 1 point.

I mad a Kashi pizza for dinner. Their Caribbean Carnival one is pretty good. I had 1/3 of the pizza for 5 points.

We went grocery shopping after dinner and to my delight Vita Tops were bogo and so were Weight Watchers ice cream items! Must be careful not to over do it but I had to grab those deals!

I had one of my WW cones for 2 points. Yum! Don't mind my sleepy face!

Yawn! Time to go lie down!
So to my readers, what are some of your favorite low point snacks?

A yay and a yawn!

So last night John didn't go to bed until around 1 a.m. I had been asleep since a little after 10 p.m. so this woke me up. I got up to pee and went to get a snack...but John must have known I was up to no good because he came out to stop me! Thanks to him I went back to bed and didn't wake up until morning. :) I need to have the will power to not do it my own but I lived without a night time snack so I don't need them!

For breakfast this morning I made something different. I had a little extra time so I made a low-point Egg McMuffin type creation. I used an bagel thin for 1 point, 1/2 cup of egg whites for 1 point and three slices of Jenny-O Extra Lean Turkey Bacon for 1 point. I highly reccomend this turkey bacon. I like the taste and you can't beat three slices for a point! Also had some ketchup on the side...yum!

I didn't want to miss the chance to get pictures of my meals today so when I got to work I took photos in advance before putting my lunch in the fridge.

For a mid-morning snack I had a Nutrigrain bar for 2 points and my Zevia soda which is all natrual and very expensive. :(

For lunch today I made a salad. I use spring mix lettuce, broccoli slaw(love this stuff), onion, cucumber, red bell pepper, cooked ground chicken breast(left over patty from dinner Monday) and Farmer Boy Greek Dressing. OMG. That dressing is so good. My friend Anna introduced me to it last year and I'm obsessed. Two tablespoons is a point and it's delicious! I find it in my local Publix. Anyway...my salad was a total of 4 points and super yummy.
Later on I had my snack of veggies. I know the picture contains an apple but I ended up tossing that because it was rotten. Ew! My veggies were free so 0 points.

Later in the afternoon I had my Luna Bar for 3 points. I like a few of these flavors but one I can count on is the Lemon Zest flavor.

After work I had acupuncture again. Work gave me a huge headache and had me feeling pretty crappy so my session didn't work as good as usual. I am hoping after rest tonight to feel better. I suffer from a-typical facial pain and have been doing acupuncture for relief. It has been helping but it's expensive. :\

For dinner I picked up Subway because I had some money on my gift card. I got the $5 turkey foot long so I can have the other half for lunch tomorrow. So for dinner I had my 6" turkey sub for 4 points. It was only four because I removed a points worth of bread. That is a good way to reduce a point. I also don't usually get cheese. I had a little honey mustard on it and veggies. I also had Baked BBQ Lays for 3 points.

I ended up eating some additional Baked Scoops for 2 points and just finished eating my 2 point WW ice cream cup. Didn't snag a pic of those, sorry.
This week has gone by fast but it's been a rough week at work. A lot of stress. I am excited for the weekend.

Saturday John and I are going to Orlando to my parents house because my grandparents are in town. We are going to Seasons 52 for dinner so that's good. If you haven't heard of it's owned by Darden (who also own Olive Garden, etc.) and they have very healthy menus and provide all nutritional information on their website. :)

Tomorrow morning I have a follow-up with a doctor from my surgery. I'm hoping I can at least get back into some light exercise!

Ok. Time to shower and rest and get ready for The Office!

A bad day. :(

Today was just a bad day. Simple as that.

I even forgot photos for the first half of the day!

I snacked again last night (ugh) so I started out the day 4 points in the negative.

For breakfast today I had my 1 point coffee and 2 points for my Bagel Thin and WW cream cheese.

I didn't have time to pack a lunch today so I bought salad at work. I had some chicken on it and it was 5 points I also had some snack mix which was 2 points.

For afternoon snacks at work I had 0 point veggies and a 1 point apple.

I rushed home after work so John and I could go view a condo (we are moving soon) and for dinner I had some baked chips and salsa for 2 points and a sandwich using an Arnolds Sandwich Thin, chicken and avocado for 3 points.

I had a piece of candy when we were out for 2 points and a WW Ice Cream Cone later for 2 points.

Just before I posted this I got hungry so I had some cut up cucumbers with dressing for 1 point.

Today was one of those days where it was really hard to not emotionally eat. I was feeling stressed, sad, angry, frustrated and overwhelmed. I am sad I went over my dailies again but what's done is done and tomorrow is a new day.
Could use some words of motivation. <3

I hate Tuesdays.

Tuesdays are the busy day at work for me and are always a long day.

I had acupuncture after work so that was nice (yet expensive).

 Anyway...

Last night I ended up snacking more bringing me to 25/35 weekly used. That was an even 10 used and like always. Just gotta stick to my daily points and not snack at night! UGH.

This morning for breakfast I had a bagel thin(these are Thomas brand) and a WW cream cheese. You will also see my Smart Water which I usually drink one each day and at least one other small bottle. My breakfast was 2 points and my coffee was 1 point.

I felt hungry around 10:45 a.m. and didn't want my pudding. I ended up going to the vending machine and getting a granola bar which was 4 points which is pretty high for a mid-morning snack. I also had my diet root beet. I quit drinking caffeine for health reasons over a month ago now. :)

For lunch today I ate at my desk (which is always fun) and had Michael Angelo's Natural Eggplant Rolletini frozen meal. It's usually with the organic frozen foods. It's only 3 points and yummy! I also had a small apple for 1 point.

Was busy at work all day but later in the afternoon I ate my 1 point pudding my 0 point veggies.

I didn't get home until 6:30 but I wanted to make this other WW recipe I found for stuffed chicken. It's stuffed with spiniach, feta, onion and lemon zest. Sounds good, right? Wrong...

OH! Side note...I had a snack of baked chips for 3 points while cooking.

It was really difficult to make and hard to get the chicken cooked through. It tasted okay but I wouldn't make it again. A serving is four points but I didn't eat all mine so I counted it as 3 points. My serving of cous cous was 3 points as well.

For dessert I had a WW Ice Cream cup for 2 points and I crushed one Thin Mint cookie into it for 1 point more.

That should be all the eating for today!

In other news I decided to take off an extra five allowance points for BLTs(bites, licks, tastes) that might have been neglected though the week. No more of those!

I am tired and cranky so I am going to go. I hope I get more followers soon...

Sunday dinner...

So I'll try two posts for today instead of editing my earlier one.

I got a pedicure this afternoon and it was nice. I was hungry afterward so I got a smoothie at Planet Smoothie made with splenda to make it less points. I had to guesstimate a bit but I said it was 3 points.

We went groccery shopping today and I got stuff to make a few different recipies this week.

When I got home I still felt hungry so I had some Baked Tostito Scoops for 2 points with salsa which was zero. I also had one of those 1 point Weight Watchers cakes that I better have John hide from me before I eat another... ;) I also had some pickles that were zero points.

For dinner I made Cherry Chicken Burgers. I used this recipe but used ground chicken breast which is lower in calories. I also skipped the cherry mayo because some reviews said that was gross.

I used Arnolds Sandwich Thins for the buns and had some lettuce, tomato and onion on it. So my cherry chicken burger was a total of 3 points.  Sadly, again I forgot to take a photo of my assembled meal! Always so eager to eat I guess...(those first two burgers burnt a big, grr...)

I also had some Sweet Potato fries for  3 points.

I already had one of my Weight Watchers Ice Cream cones for dessert. They are 2 points and my favorite Weight Watchers dessert.

I am full right now but later on for a snack I'll have a yummy Vita Top. If you haven't tried this you HAVE TO! They are delicious and 1 point. I find them at my local Publix but you can also order them online.

24/24 daily points used

Good old Sunday...

So last night I had a hard time getting to sleep. I felt really uncomfortable from my surgery last weekend. I was up around 2 a.m. and ate a Lemon Zest Luna Bar for 3 points. I try really hard to not snack at night after I go to bed but sometimes it gets me. :(

Once I woke up around 11:30 a.m. today I had my usual coffee for 1 point.

For lunch I had some baked Kettle Chips. I had the serving size (28 grams) for 2 points and I made a bagel sandwich for 3 points! I used these new Bagel Thins which are great. They are like sandwich thins but bagels of course. I used 1 tbsp of reduced-fat cream cheese and portioned out a points worth of smoked salmon. Yum.

For dinner tonight I am going to make Cherry Chicken Burgers and sweet potato fries. I hope the burgers aren't gross...I'll blame Semi-Homemade with Sandra Lee!

Not that many are reading yet but how do you think I should post? Edit the same post throughout the day so it's one post per day or post twice (once with breakfast/lunch) and another post later for dinner?
